You will work closely with stakeholders across finance,

shaping how we manage billing, time recording, financials, and
wider practice management processes.

Lead the design, architecture, and configuration of the Aderant Sierra platform, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal business requirements.

Implementation and integration:

Manage Aderant Sierra deployments, including integrations with key systems such as document management (NetDocuments), CMS platforms, HR systems, and reporting tools like Power BI.

Customisation and configuration:

Tailor Aderant workflows, templates, billing rules, and user interfaces to meet operational needs.

Data migration:

Oversee and execute data migration activities, ensuring accurate and seamless transfer of financial and operational data into Aderant Sierra.

Collaboration:

Partner with project managers, business analysts, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.

Skills and qualifications

Technical expertise:

Deep understanding of the Aderant Sierra platform, including time and billing, general ledger, and banking.
Integration skills: Experience with Aderant APIs and integration with third-party systems like NetDocuments, Sharedo, and HR platforms.

Project management:

Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to timelines.

Communication:

Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for business teams.

Problem-solving:

Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Collaboration:

Strong team player able to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.

Experience

Proven experience as a systems architect working specifically with Aderant Sierra in a legal services environment. Experience building custom integrations between Aderant Sierra and third-party applications such as NetDocuments, Sharedo, FormEvo, or HR systems. Strong knowledge of Aderant APIs, workflows, and customisation capabilities. Hands-on experience with financial system migration and data integrity management.
