Working Hours & Shift Pattern



Full-time 36-hour week with flexibility to shape your routine. Core hours:


Monday: 8:30am - 6:30pm Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm Friday: 8:30am - 12:30pm

No weekend work and protected breaks built into the day.




This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated podiatrist to join a modern, patient-centred clinic in the heart of Ilminster (TA19), located close to Chard and Taunton. As a Podiatrist, you'll work in a purpose-built environment designed to support both high-quality care and your ongoing development. Key Responsibilities




Deliver high-quality general podiatry treatments with a patient-centred approach Provide nail surgery, Swift therapy, bracing, and fungal treatment services Use footscan and vascular assessment equipment to support clinical decision-making Support MSK assessments, gait analysis, and treatment planning Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best-practice standards Communicate clearly with patients, colleagues, and external professionals Contribute to ongoing service development and community initiatives Participate in mentorship sessions, CPD activities, and clinical reviews Promote safe, evidence-based practice and compliance at all times

Requirements




HCPC-registered podiatrist (or soon to be) Confident or developing skills across general podiatry treatments Interest in MSK, gait analysis, or rehab-based podiatry welcomed Strong communication, empathy, and patient-focused decision-making Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred Suitable for newly qualified, early-career, or returning podiatrists Suitable for: Foot Specialist, MSK Podiatrist, Chiropodist, Clinical Podiatry Clinician
