Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Poolside Assistant to join our team at Puddle Ducks East Surrey. Having Poolside Assistants at many of our pools is one of the things that makes Puddle Ducks different. This role is vital in supporting our mission of teaching children to swim confidently and safely. As a Poolside Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering a love for swimming among young learners.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet customers, ensuring everyone has what they need for the class. Ensuring the pool area is clean, tidy and safe for customers. Taking the register, sorting/cleaning the equipment and tidying. Providing assistance to the Teacher, including in an emergency. Assist instructors in delivering engaging swimming lessons Ensure a safe and positive learning environment Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and answering any queries. Help maintain equipment and facilities

Qualifications

Passion for working with children and promoting water safety Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain) Flexible availability for lesson schedules Enthusiasm for swimming and outdoor activities You will be warm, welcoming, love children and be

The role is part time and mainly term time only (44 weeks of the year)

Hours: Monday and Friday mornings - 9.30am - 12.00 and Sunday 8.15am - 11.45am
