About the Shop:

This winter, we're opening the

Love and London Souvenir Shop

-- a two-week pop-up in Soho celebrating local London makers and creative souvenirs that tourists actually want to take home. The shop will be bright, colourful, and full of independent products -- from prints to homeware to small gifts -- all curated by the Love and London team (the creators behind the travel guides, YouTube channel, and online community with over 1 million followers).

It'll be a small but busy shop with a tight-knit team, so we're looking for friendly, reliable, and proactive people who love meeting visitors and getting stuck in. We're hiring three people for this role.

The Role

You'll be part of the core shop team, helping with day-to-day operations including:

1. Welcoming and assisting customers

2. Running the till (Shopify POS) and handling payments

3. Restocking shelves and keeping displays tidy

4. Helping with visual merchandising and the occasional social-media moment

5. Supporting set-up on opening day and pack-down on the final day

This is an

all-hands-on-deck

environment -- one minute you might be chatting with tourists about their trip, the next you're unpacking a box of prints or rearranging a display.

What We're Looking For:

1. Some

retail or customer service experience

(doesn't need to be extensive, but confidence with customers is key)

2.

Fully available for the entire pop-up period

(25 Nov - 8 Dec) plus training on

Monday 24th November

and an interview in Soho on 5th November

3. Able to work

7-9 hour shifts

, with only

2-3 days off

across the two weeks

4. Already

registered as self-employed/freelance with HMRC

and able to invoice for payment (this is a must)

5. Live

somewhat locally to Soho

and able to very reliably commute each day

6. Friendly, organised, and happy to pitch in with anything that needs doing

7. Bonus points if you know London well-- you'll likely be asked a lot of questions by our tourist customers

Pay:

17 /hour

, paid via invoice after the pop-up.
