About the Role



You'll be the go-to person for understanding how work gets done across MissionX's portfolio of companies -- and for turning that knowledge into practical guides and improvements.

You will:



Map and document workflows across multiple MissionX businesses, creating clear "construction manuals" for each company. Collaborate with teams to understand their processes and identify ways to make them more efficient. Clarify team roles and responsibilities so everyone knows who does what. Standardise best practices, ensuring great methods are repeated across our portfolio. Support faster onboarding by creating step-by-step guides for new team members. Help the business scale by turning invisible processes into visible, reliable systems. Travel to our partner businesses in Poole and the West Midlands to observe, learn, and document processes first-hand. You can expect to travel up to 8 days per month, including staying overnight, and you may need to travel further than the West Midlands.

A Typical Day in This Role



Your day might start by reviewing which team workflows need documenting and scheduling meetings to learn how different departments operate. After speaking with team members, you'll map out their processes -- identifying gaps or inefficiencies -- and then draft improved versions that make things clearer and smoother. You'll turn those insights into well-organised manuals that others can easily follow. Toward the end of the day, you might plan travel to visit one of our partner sites, organising your itinerary and preparing to meet directors to discuss and analyse their workflows in person. No two days are the same, but each one will leave you knowing your structure and systems are helping real teams succeed.

Process Mapping & Documentation:

you are passionate about mapping workflows and spotting inefficiencies.

Patient and empathetic:

needed when gathering information from busy teams. Comfortable working in an office and

travelling

to partner business sites.
A background in

operations, administration, business analysis, project coordination, or research

would be helpful -- but what really matters is your mindset: organised, dependable, and eager to help a business run at its best.
