An opportunity has arisen to join the BTR team as a Portfolio Manager and be part of our residential team located in Sale.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals with experience in the residential property management sector. Working with your team, you'll be fundamental in ensuring all Property Management tasks are completed promptly and efficiently. Customer service lies at the core of our operations, requiring a willingness to exceed expectations. We are looking for someone who cares about the people around them and is willing to go the extra mile. We would consider individuals without previous property related experience if they can demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Managing a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Acting as the primary point of contact for tenants, providing exceptional support and addressing all enquiries promptly and professionally.
Handling any issues or concerns arising within the properties, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, including liaising with contractors and suppliers, obtaining quotes, and scheduling work within agreed budgets and timelines.
Administering tenancy agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Managing tenancy deposits, including registration, return processes, and handling disputes in line with relevant legislation.
Accurately updating the in-house property management system and associated platforms to reflect the latest tenancy and property information.
Coordinating routine property inspections and maintenance schedules to maintain high standards across the portfolio.
Collaborating closely with internal departments and the wider business to deliver a seamless property management experience.

Essential:
Previous experience within the property industry, particularly in a property management or lettings environment.
Solid understanding of property management processes and legal obligations.
Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service and a genuine willingness to exceed expectations.
Proactive, positive, and solution-focused attitude.
Confident user of property management software and general IT systems.
Strong sense of integrity, reliability, and personal accountability.
Desirable:
Propertymark (ARLA) accreditation or equivalent industry qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
