Portuguese Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth, South London
Start Date: September 2025
Reeson Education are supporting a large mainstream secondary school in Lambeth, South London who require an Portuguese Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will have fluent written and spoken Portuguese.
The role of the Portuguese Teaching Assistant is to support students with moderate learning difficulties and encourage learning across a variety of subjects and year groups.

The successful candidate will:

• Supervise and provide particular support for students identified with EAL ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
• Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
• Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with students' learning
• Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support students to achieve learning goals
• Assist with the planning of learning activities
