The Special Education Needs (SEN) Service is seeking to recruit a Positive Behaviour Support Analyst. The post will be in the first instance fixed term until 31st March 2025. This is subject to funding. The post forms part of the Change Partnership Programme and will manage our Local Inclusion Support Offer that will work alongside 6 staff in meeting the needs of our SEN children in mainstream schools with complex needs. You will directly report to the Programme Coordinator.
You will form part of a multi-agency team that will be responsible for identifying support to our children and young people where they may be experiencing some challenges in participating in the education system. You will identify a child's needs and work with the therapists and teaching staff to support the child to make progress in school and at home. You will, with the team, provide support to the wider class and the school where there are identified needs. You will review and adapt all behaviour plans as children's needs change.
We are seeking a committed professional who must have a qualification and experience of behavioural analysis for SEN children and young people.
