At MacIntyre, we're looking for a dedicated and skilled PBS Specialist to help shape and lead best practice across our School and Children's Homes in Wingrave, and provide support to our other settings in Leighton Buzzard and St Albans.
The Role
In this exciting and rewarding role, you will:
Oversee and support a flexible caseload of children and young people who may need focused, specialist support.
Coach and mentor colleagues to embed PBS principles and approaches across our Children's homes.
Work closely with internal teams and external professionals to create consistent, person-centred support plans that lead to positive outcomes.
Champion PBS across services, driving improvements in practice and outcomes.
Work alongside our other PBS Specialists and members of the therapy team

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Extensive experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
A strong understanding of positive behaviour support, functional assessment and person centred planning.
Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Experience of delivering training or a willingness to become a trainer
A collaborative mindset and the confidence to influence and lead others positively.
Ideally, a professional qualification in PBS or a willingness to work towards one.
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the rural location of our School and the need to travel between sites
