Priory Millburn Homes are looking to recruit a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join the team. This is afull timerole of 37.5 hours.



Millburn is located in Cambuslang, on the outskirts of Glasgow. Our home offers residential support for 20 males and females with a variety of needs, including autistic adults and people with a learning disability. We can also support individuals with mental health and physical health needs.



While the focus will be at Millburn, there may be a requirement to spend some time at our Priory Support Living Scotland which provides supported living services for people with a variety of support needs, conditions and presentations. This includes people who are autistic, have a learning disability or mental health needs. Our specialist support enables people to live happy and fulfilling lives in their own homes within their community.

What you'll be doing





The PBS practitioner will work closely with the people we support, colleague teams and stakeholders to develop and deliver Positive Behaviour Support for individuals and services.

The post holder will use their expertise to support predominantly in the following areas:Development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including Functional Behaviour Assessment Practice Leadership and Practice workshops Incident support, analysis and colleague debrief Staff training & development

What you'll bring to the role





We are looking for a qualified professional with a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support (e.g., BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, MSc Applied Behaviour Analysis, or equivalent) and either qualified or willing to work towards PROACT-SCIPr-UK Instructor status.



The ideal candidate will have strong person-centred values, excellent communication skills, leadership experience, and a solid understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Experience in behavioural assessment, intervention development, and supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism is essential.



Candidates should also have a proven track record in reducing restrictive practices, delivering PBS training, and strong skills in record-keeping and report writing. Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, including the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and safeguarding, is required.
