Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated
Post 16 Lead
to design, deliver, and continually refine a bespoke post-16 curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and monitoring student progress, ensuring learning plans are personalised and responsive to each individual's needs and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver an engaging, inclusive post-16 curriculum tailored to individual student needs.
Monitor and track academic and personal progress of post-16 learners through regular assessment and review.
Adapt learning plans and content to suit the evolving needs, goals, and capabilities of each learner.
Work closely with students, families, and staff to develop pathways into further education, training, or employment.
Provide clear and detailed documentation on learner progress, challenges, and achievements.
Maintain a presence on-site until 3:00 PM daily to support operational needs, with flexibility for additional administrative work as required.
Contribute to the wider goals and ethos of Ed for All through collaborative planning and innovation.
Additional support with KS3 & 4 may be needed if required.
Person Specification Essential:
Experience delivering education to post-16 learners or older secondary-age students.
Proven ability to personalise learning and adapt curriculum content.
Strong organisational and tracking skills.
A learner-centred approach with a focus on outcomes and wellbeing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
Desirable:
Experience working with SEND or alternative provision settings.
Knowledge of post-16 pathways including college, apprenticeships, and employment support.
Relevant teaching or training qualification.
Working Conditions
Core hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with students dismissed at 2:00 PM.
Staff presence required until 3:00 PM for planning, meetings, and support.
An additional hour per day (flexible) may be required for administrative tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 32,000.00-41,000.00 per year
