To provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management for our players aged 16 and over with physical, neurological, or developmental needs. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) across educational, health, and community settings to support independence, participation, and transition back into training and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions tailored to individuals aged 16+.
Develop individualised care plans, rehabilitation programs.
Work collaboratively with other professionals such as squad managers, coaches and S&C Lead.
Educate and empower young people, families, and support staff in physiotherapy techniques and self-management.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and legal standards.
Essential:
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.HCPC registration.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills. Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload.
Desirable:
Experience working in educational or community-based settings.
Experience of working in youth football.
Experience of working with youth athletes.
