Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication skills and a passion to deliver great customer service to join our ZCO team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Ensuring smooth running of Post Offices within Scotland , including implementing and developing operational procedures, managing staffing, costs, and equipment, and ensuring compliance with Post Office Ltd. procedures. Also maintaining a regular audit of cash and stock at all ZCO branches within Scotland .Financial Performance:
Monitoring and improving branch performance, including sales, profitability, and stock and cash management.Customer Service:
Ensuring high standards of customer service, handling complaints, and promoting customer-focused sales initiatives.Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines, security procedures, and other Post Office policies.Continuous Improvement:
Identifying areas for improvement in service delivery, operational efficiency, and business development.Skills and Experience:
Management Experience:
Previous experience in a managerial role within a Post Office is essential.Communication Skills:
written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective communication with staff and ZCO head Office.There may be some opportunities for development and career progression, along with auto enrolment into a pension scheme, 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays Pro Rata.
