The successful Paralegal will support the department in efficiently and effectively closing files at their conclusion. This will ensure we are GDPR compliant and achieve Client KPI's and SLA's.

Key Responsibilities

Become fully competent in the Post Settlement Process Actively manage the Post Settlement Spreadsheet's Liaise with the department's Paralegals to ensure efficiency in the process. Provide continual feedback to improve the process Identify and resolve issues that may prevent file closures in the department Improve the closure rate of the department Be aware of any GDPR compliance issues General admin related to the closure of files. Write off forms where appropriate Liaise with finance re billing queries Updating MI where appropriate Undertake ad hoc duties to support Paralegals and Fee Earners. To ensure compliance with the SRA Standards & Regulations Adhere to the Davies Values

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Proficient in MS Office (word and excel in particular) and experience of using a Case/Claims Management system Knowledge of the closure process Experience of working within a disease team Ability to use own initiative, self-organise and self-prioritise Good listening and communication skills Ability to self-organise and self-prioritise Ability to work under pressure and to target GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths
