About Us

We are an established commercial cleaning franchise operating across Southeast London and Kent. We specialise in professional post-construction cleaning (after-builders cleaning) for property developers, contractors, and facilities managers. We're expanding and actively seeking experienced deep cleaning specialists to handle high-value construction and renovation cleaning projects on a flexible, job-by-job basis.

The Role

As a Post-Construction Deep Cleaning Contractor, you will be responsible for comprehensive deep cleaning of properties following building works, renovations, or new construction. This is

project-based work with flexible hours and no guaranteed minimum,

you manage your own schedule around available projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete full deep cleaning of properties after construction/renovation work Remove construction dust, debris, paint splashes, and fine particles using industrial-grade equipment Clean all surfaces: floors (multiple types), walls, windows (interior and exterior), fixtures, fittings, and appliances Follow detailed post-construction checklists and cleaning protocols Work independently or as part of a team depending on project size Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and site schedules Issue invoices for completed work Maintain high standards and ensure properties are ready for occupation/handover Communicate professionally with contractors, developers, and project managers Use and maintain professional cleaning equipment safely Report any damage or concerns to site supervisor/client

What's Involved:

Projects vary in size: 1-bed flats (6-10 hours) to large commercial properties (2-5 days) Work may include interior cleaning, exterior surfaces, windows, specialist floor cleaning Some projects require 6-hour minimum shifts; others are full-day or multi-day assignments Typical availability: Monday-Friday, some Saturday work for larger projects You choose projects you can commit to Invoice submission after project completion

About You

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of professional cleaning experience (construction, commercial, or deep cleaning background preferred) Proven experience with post-construction, after-builders, or heavy-duty cleaning Excellent attention to detail and commitment to thorough, high-standard cleaning Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work Ability to work independently and manage larger projects Strong knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and safe handling procedures Good physical fitness and stamina (ability to work long hours, lift and carry equipment) Valid UK driving licence and reliable access to transport Flexible and comfortable with variable hours and project-based work Ability to issue invoices for work completed Professional communication and customer service skills

Desirable:

Specific post-construction or after-builders cleaning experience Experience with specialist equipment (steam cleaners, pressure washers, industrial vacuums) References from construction companies, contractors, or developers Professional cleaning certification or training Own professional-grade cleaning equipment and tools Fully insured (public liability insurance beneficial) Ability to work as part of a team on larger projects
