Contract type: fixed term until 31st August 2026

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Global Centre for Healthcare and Urbanisation (GCHU) team at Kellogg College as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

You will play a key role in delivering research and reports related to healthy urbanism. You will also engage in additional independent research that fits within the centre\'s remit and long-term vision.

You will be responsible for innovating, contributing, and promoting the research, publication, and impact focus of the Centre, in relation to healthy urbanism. You will also engage in collaborative projects with colleagues in partner institutions, and research groups and contribute ideas for new research projects, and develop ideas for generating research income.

You will be joining the University of Oxford\'s most international college, with a unique mix of students: it is the University\'s leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students. The College\'s wider academic community includes members drawn from across the full range of academic disciplines in the University.

About you

You will have a relevant PhD or DPhil (or equivalent) with research experience in applied research, have attained relevant expertise in evidence-based research and have the ability to lead research through to completion. You will show excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently.
