The Opportunity:
We are looking for an individual to join our friendly teaching administration team. Based in The Bayes Centre, you will provide course and programme administration to EPCC's Postgraduate Taught portfolio. This student-facing role combines the need for excellent administrative skills, an organised approach, attention to detail, and the ability to develop good working relationships with students and colleagues to ensure the efficient and effective co-ordination of all matters related to daily teaching and assessment.
The role is part of a three-person Postgraduate Taught Team which provides administrative and pastoral support for postgraduate students across EPCC. This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working once the post holder is familiar with the role, this would combine a mix of work-from-home and regular on-campus working, and in cooperation with peak times and other business needs.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to exercise initiative and judgment to resolve many day-to-day problems independently
Strong organisational skills to plan and prepare required materials in advance and in line with the Postgraduate Taught cycle to support both students and staff in a timely fashion
Proven IT-literacy to utilise common O365 software (e.g. Excel, Outlook) and other University systems to efficiently complete administrative tasks with accuracy and speed
Commitment to continuous improvement and high standards of customer service
