Job Description

We are currently recruiting for the role of Postgraduate Research Administrator Progression and Wellbeing within the Faculty of Humanities Doctoral Academy. The successful candidate will join a supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our postgraduate research community.


This role involves providing guidance and administrative support across key stages of the postgraduate research journey. Responsibilities include monitoring researcher attendance, engagement, and progression, ensuring compliance, and supporting postgraduate researcher wellbeing.


We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively in a busy, team-oriented environment with competing priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a high level of attention to detail, and digital literacy are essential. Desirable attributes include: an understanding of the structures and processes within large, complex organisationsideally in postgraduate research support within higher education, knowledge and experience of using student systems and experience of generating data using digital reporting tools

Start date of post: 01/08/2025



Work pattern: This role offers hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days on campus
