Post-Primary Maths Tutor - Belfast

Are you confident in Maths and passionate about helping students succeed? We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic tutors to join our team in Belfast. If you have experience teaching or tutoring Maths at the post-primary level and know the Northern Ireland curriculum, we'd love to hear from you!

Your Role:

Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group Maths tutoring sessions (in person) Support students from Key Stage 3 up to GCSE and A-Level Create lesson plans tailored to each student's needs Track progress and adjust teaching methods when needed Communicate regularly with parents/guardians

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Degree level (Maths or related subject preferred) At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience (post-primary) Good knowledge of the Northern Ireland post-primary Maths curriculum Ability to explain complex topics clearly and simply Professional, reliable, and approachable Patient and supportive, especially with students who struggle in Maths

Preferred:

Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.) Experience supporting students with additional learning needs

What to Expect:

Short teaching demonstration as part of the application Commitment of at least 1 year preferred In-person tutoring at students' homes in Belfast and nearby areas Self-employed role

Key Details:

Pay:

20-30 per hour (depending on lesson type/level)

Hours:

4-25 hours per week (flexible, weekdays & weekends)
