We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Pot Wash to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment. This position is essential for supporting food preparation and ensuring that all kitchenware is properly cleaned and sanitised, contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
Responsibilities
Wash, rinse, and sanitise pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils to maintain hygiene standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the dishwashing station and surrounding spaces.
Support chefs and kitchen staff by providing necessary equipment and utensils promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality and service.
