Pot Washer/kitchen Assistant
Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant/ pot washer to join our team in a dynamic culinary environment. The Kitchen Assistant will support the kitchen staff in washing pots & kitchen equipment, food preparation, cooking, dessert preparation and maintaining cleanliness in a professional setting. Responsibilities: - Assist in food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen staff - Support cooks and chefs during service by helping with various tasks - Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment - Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures - Assist in receiving and storing deliveries - Help with inventory management and stock rotation Qualifications: - Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred - Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus - Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment - Strong attention to detail and cleanliness - Understanding of food safety guidelines - Culinary education or training is beneficial If you are passionate about the culinary arts and eager to learn in a professional kitchen setting, we welcome you to apply for the Kitchen Assistant position.
