We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients Support chefs with cooking and plating dishes as required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with serving food to customers or guests when necessary Follow hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and waste disposal Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of meals

Skills

Experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Previous restaurant, hotel, or culinary experience is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a kitchen setting Hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: 12.50 per hour
