We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable

Team Leader

to support the day-to-day running of

Pot8o - The Art of Potatoes

, helping lead the team while delivering excellent food and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Support

Lead by example during shifts, motivating and supporting team members. Help train new staff on food preparation, hygiene standards, and customer service. Ensure team members follow company procedures and maintain high standards at all times. Act as a point of contact on shift, escalating issues to management when needed.

Food Handling & Preparation

Prepare and serve fresh salads and food items, ensuring consistency in portion size and presentation. Oversee food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, and organising ingredients. Monitor food quality and freshness throughout service.

Hygiene & Safety

Maintain and enforce high standards of cleanliness across the salad bar, kitchen, and shop floor. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Support daily cleaning routines and end-of-shift checks.

Customer Service

Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries or concerns professionally. Ensure the team provides a friendly, welcoming experience for every customer. Support order taking and service during busy periods.

Shop Operations

Assist in keeping the entire shop clean, organised, and running smoothly. Support opening and closing procedures when required. Help maintain stock levels and report shortages to management.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in

food handling and hospitality

, ideally in a supervisory or senior team member role. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent customer service with a friendly, approachable attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Solid understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards. Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, well-run workspace.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
