About the Role
As part of the
waxing and glazing team
, you'll be responsible for finishing customers' beautiful pottery pieces- prepping, waxing, glazing, and helping load and unload the kiln. You'll also assist with collections, basic studio upkeep, and customer service as needed.
Don't worry if you haven't done glazing before- we'll provide full training. What matters most is that you're
hardworking, calm under pressure

Key Responsibilities
Pottery Processing
: Waxing, glazing, cleaning, and carefully prepping customer pieces for firing.
Kiln Support
: Unloading and organising glazed pieces, assisting with basic kiln procedures (training provided).
Studio Maintenance
: Keep workspaces clean, well-stocked, and running smoothly.
Customer Support
: Occasionally help with customer inquiries or collections when needed.
Team Collaboration
: Work closely with the studio manager and wider team to stay on schedule.
Event Support:
During busy periods we will need you to assist the current team with pottery painting and dealing with customers
What We're Looking For
Reliable, focused, and physically able to work on your feet with your hands.
Comfortable with a repetitive task-based workflow.
A background in hospitality, art, or hands-on work is a plus.
Interest in pottery or craft-based work (experience with ceramics/kiln is a bonus, but not essential).
Must be available
weekdays and some weekends
