Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Selection of correct paint for job. Selection of correct oven temperatures and track speeds. Setting up equipment. Control of pre-treatment to clean and treat parts. Ensuring correct preparation of parts before painting and how they are placed on line. Understanding powder paint properties. Understanding coating defects, their causes and how to rectify. Carrying out quality checks on coating finish, including DFT & Gloss readings. Carrying out stock checks of paints and recording on system. Recording details of painted parts and results of quality checks. Maintaining equipment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned after use. To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.
About you
Skilled powder painter with ITW Gema system experience required. Good knowledge of powder paint process. Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.00-18.15 per hour

Prestwick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
