We have an opportunity to join our thriving Data & Analytics team with an exciting plan and long-term vision. We are seeking a Power Platform Developerto design, build and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform to streamline and optimise business processes.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of Breedon's Power Platform capability by delivering industry leading applications which support data driven decision making across the Group Provide both technical and non-technical documentation to support Power Platform developments Take ownership of the full development lifecycle and solutions Role model positive behaviours and actively support change to processes and ways of working Actively share knowledge and support other team members and proactively foster a culture of continuous improvement Proactively investigate and resolve issues related to data, applications and application performance Support end-users in leveraging Power Platform solutions to maximise their effectiveness Collaborate effectively with our cross-functional Data & Analytics team and key business stakeholders Supporting the delivery of the Power Platform Centre of Excellence Highlighting and supporting the resolution of data quality issues at source with the business

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Experience and knowledge:

Experience designing and developing applications and workflow solutions using Microsoft Power Platform Thorough understanding of Power Platform ecosystem as well as application development and workflow optimisation principles Ability to work with large and complex datasets from various data sources Strong understanding of data modelling techniques Experience optimising data models, applications and workflows for performance and user experience Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile manor Knowledge of BI governance practices including row level security and user permissions Experience working with a variety of stakeholders throughout the development life cycle Ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions

Skills:

Tenacious and curious nature that enables uncovering data availability and data quality constraints early in the process Problem solving - the ability to identify creative solutions to overcome problems Ability to build strong relationships and communicate openly, in a positive manor, sharing ideas with others aligning with the best interests of the Data & Analytics team and wider business The ability to identify and implement creative solutions to overcome complex problems Ability to impart knowledge and offer options to other SME's that may also be developing solutions. Working with multiple stakeholders and application solutions concurrently
