Are you an experienced and driven Powerplant Engineer with a passion for engine performance and lifecycle management? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team and take responsibility for a wide range of engine-related activities supporting our UK and global operations.


As a Powerplant Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing technical and commercial aspects of engine operations. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, compliance, and value across our engine fleet. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, MROs, OEMs, and lessors to deliver world-class engine solutions.


This role involves frequent interaction with UK-based facilities, partners, and clients and will require

up to 50% travel across the UK

.


Key responsibilities:

Schedule and manage engine shop visits Define and negotiate workscope packages Review shop visit invoices and technical records Assess Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins Perform engine reliability analysis and component inspections Review borescope reports and removed engine materials Conduct physical inspections during purchase/disposal Liaise with OEMs, MROs, and customers Ensure contract delivery and support lease returns Manage engine-related programs and due diligence activities

About you

Engineering degree, EASA license, or equivalent relevant experience Proficient in the use of IT systems and technical tools Strong knowledge of civil aircraft engine models (e.g. CFM, V2500, Trent, GE) Understanding of airworthiness regulations and compliance standards Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills Confident communicator, able to engage effectively at all levels Collaborative team player with a proactive approach
