We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Power System Engineer
to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical power systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves working on grid integration, load flow studies, protection coordination, and renewable energy systems.Key Responsibilities:
Perform
power system studies
including load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and protection coordination. Design and analyzetransmission and distribution systems
, substations, and grid interconnections. Support integration ofrenewable energy
sources (solar, wind, etc.) into the grid. Develop and validatemodels using simulation tools
such as ETAP, PSCAD, PSSE, DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system planning, design, and commissioning. Ensure compliance withnational and international
standards (IEEE, IEC, NERC, etc.). Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving power system issues in operational environments. * Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in power systems and smart grids.
