The Tiffany & Co marketing team is looking for a PR & Social Media Special Projects intern to join our dynamic team, working in London on two key projects for the duration of 6 months. The role is part of the Marketing & Communications team and reports into the PR manager.
You will be assisting the Marketing & Communications Director, PR Manager & PR Specialist in the delivery of the PR strategy for Tiffany & Co.
The focus of the internship is to build PR skills in press, talent/influencers and events and ensure the smooth running of the press office by working cross-functionally with retail, events, operations and client relations teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Marketing & Communications Director and PR team in delivering the PR objectives:
Press & Talent/VIP

  • Coordinate product loans for photo shoots and VIP endorsements (in partnership with stores and PR agencies and regional teams) and attend shoots when necessary.
  • Ensure coverage trackers and reports are kept up to date - daily and monthly. Support distribution of press highlights internally.
  • Work collaboratively with PR Manager and Specialist to identify coverage opportunities and talent / influencers for the brand to work with.
  • Share press materials with agencies and media and maintain asset database.
  • Support PR Specialist in arranging press events, including international product launches and local press and influencer events.
  • Support PR and media teams with product shoots for social media e.g. filming in store around key projects.
  • Build and maintain media and talent agent contact lists.
  • Support with ad hoc tasks relevant to the role.
Administration, Monitoring & Reporting
  • Support PR team with administrative tasks including new vendor forms, invoices and trackers.
  • Monitor print, digital and social media performance using DMR and Creator IQ.
  • Monitor competitor activity e.g. around product launches and events.
  • Coordinate event recaps, track feedback and make improvement recommendations as appropriate
Special Brand Events | Cross Functional 360 Execution
  • Support PR team in delivering key London event(s) by assisting with event planning and execution as well as related administrative duties.
  • Support PR Manager and PR Specialist in daily activities related to events in line with Tiffany & Co. event standards.
  • Continuously compile and update event action plans, event tracker and feedback reports.
  • Support in liaising with external agencies and suppliers as well as internal teams.
  • Deliver ad hoc tasks as requested.
SKILLS & ABILITES
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish professional working relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize a varying workload and to work off your own initiative.
  • Experience in social media and content creation (e.g., image and video).
  • A love for creating content, comfortable speaking to the camera and livestreaming if required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Excel & Adobe suite (and similar).
  • Experience working on events.
