Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and creative PR & Social Media Assistant to support our brand communications, content output, and event coordination. You'll work directly with one of our co-founders to help shape the voice and presence of Lotus Realm across digital platforms and in real-life collaborations.
This role is ideal for someone early in their communications career who is eager to contribute to a growing cultural brand.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns, partnerships, and media outreach
Draft and proofread press releases, event copy, and partnership proposals
Create, schedule, and manage content across platforms (Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, etc.)
Track engagement, feedback, and analytics to improve future content
Support event planning and on-site coordination for press and influencer events
Maintain media contact databases and respond to outreach
Collaborate closely with design, bar, and management teams for content accuracy
Requirements
1+ year experience in PR, marketing, social media, or communications (internships included)
Excellent writing and copyediting skills
Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram & Xiaohongshu)
Organised, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English; fluency in Cantonese is strongly preferred ?Mandarin fluency is a plus
Comfortable working occasional evenings for events or launches
