Ivan Shannon & Co is a family run accountancy practice based in Ballynahinch. We are looking to expand and are therefore seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) to join the team. This position is ready for an immediate start and would suit someone with a sound knowledge of how small to medium sized businesses operate and the accountancy services they require.
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts preparation for sole traders, charities, partnerships and limited companies. VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis in line with making tax digital. Personal tax computations for self-employed and company directors. Monthly payroll and CIS submissions. Supporting clients with their cloud-based accounting solutions.
Abilities and Skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently. Good communication skills and can deal with clients confidently. Trustworthy and reliable, as it is a small practice you will need to work closely with colleagues and clients. Good attention to detail. Proactive in your approach to the job. Personable and friendly approach.
