Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise dental office staff, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.
2. Patient Care Operations:
- Ensure high-quality patient care by overseeing appointment scheduling, patient flow, and treatment coordination.
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Implement and maintain protocols for infection control and patient safety.
3. Financial Management:
- Oversee billing, collections, and patient payment processes.
- Monitor practice expenses and revenue to meet financial targets.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for the practice.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the practice complies with all dental regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and implement quality improvement initiatives.
5. Marketing and Community Relations:
- Assist with marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and community groups.
- Organize outreach events and educational programs to promote dental health awareness.
