We are looking for an organised, proactive, and professional Practice Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our accountancy practice. You will be the first point of contact for clients and assist in a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice.
This is a part-time role ideally suited to someone with excellent communication and administrative skills, looking for a consistent, flexible working schedule.
The role can be adapted to suit the needs of the individual with hybrid working after a successful 3 month probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Handling general office administration, including managing emails and incoming/outgoing post
Answering and directing incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems as required
Chasing outstanding payments and supporting credit control activities
Chasing payments with HMRC for clients
Raising and issuing client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Providing administrative support to the partners and team manager as needed
Website updates and managing posts on social media channels
Carrying out any other administrative tasks to support the day-to-day running of the practice
Person Specification
Essential:
Proven experience in an administrative or office-based role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail and accuracy
Competent with Microsoft Office 365 and general IT systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

Salary: 14,000 per annum (for 20 hours/week)
20 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus Bank Holidays
