The Role
As our new Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the clinic, with a focus on patient experience, compliance, and business development. You will lead day-to-day operations, manage rotas, and work closely with our clinical and non-clinical teams to maintain the high standards our patients expect. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a professional, reassuring, and friendly patient experience.
Manage the day-to-day running of the practice, including staff rotas and payroll.
Ensure compliance with regulations, including conducting audits, infection control, and documentation.
Oversee patient bookings, appointment management, and front-desk duties as required.
Handle patient payments and ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes.
Contribute to the business's growth by promoting treatments, supporting patient retention, and participating in service improvement initiatives.
Participate in ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and practice training.
Requirements:
Essential:
Previous experience working in a private dental clinic. Familiarity with band 4 NHS provision is a plus.
Preferred:
GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities.
Comfortable with dental software and practice management systems.
Reliable, professional, and patient-focused.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and team-oriented.
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO PETERBOROUGH TWICE A WEEK.
