Overview

The Meopham Veterinary Hospital is situated in the green belt village of Kent, with excellent access to the M20 and A2/M2. Established in September 1996, the practice has grown to employing over sixty colleagues across four practices. Independent and family owned by the founding vet, excellence in patient care, staff development and professional training are at the heart of what we do. Superb modern facilities include four theatres and CT scanner, supported by our own dedicated night team.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operations of our veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in veterinary services, and a solid understanding of financial management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the practice while providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the veterinary practice, ensuring high standards of care and service Oversee financial management tasks Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with regulations Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff members Liaise with veterinary professionals to ensure the delivery of quality care and client satisfaction Address client inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain strong relationships with pet owners

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a veterinary is preferred Demonstrated skills in financial management, including budgeting and cost control Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients alike A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing outstanding service
Working hours are Monday to Friday 900am-530pm with an annual leave allowance of 5 weeks.
