With three well-equipped sites, Leonard Brothers Vets offers excellent facilities supported by a passionate, dedicated team. Our practice is home to 14 vets and an experienced nursing and support team, all united by a shared mission: to deliver outstanding care to our clients while fostering professional growth within our people.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Practice Manager to help lead Leonard Brothers into the next exciting phase of its journey. This role will be primarily based at our Whitchurch branch, with travel between all three sites.
Role Details
Reporting to our Director of Practice, you'll play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring the smooth running of our practice group. Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing daily operations across all three sites, ensuring efficiency and consistency
Leading, motivating and supporting clinical and administrative teams to deliver exceptional care
Working closely with the Practice Director on business planning, growth and strategic development
Managing budgets, financial performance and resource allocation across the practice
Implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and regulatory compliance
Acting as a first point of contact for staff and clients on operational matters
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members
Promoting a positive, collaborative and supportive culture across all sites

We're committed to helping our people achieve a healthy work-life balance. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, typically across five days, with flexibility where possible and some travel between sites. There are no out-of-hours requirements, and part-time applications are also welcomed.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an organised, people-focused individual with strong leadership skills and experience managing teams in a busy environment. Previous experience within the veterinary or healthcare sector would be advantageous but not essential.
