Dental Practice Manager

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead and manage our beautiful fully-private aesthetic practice based in Newcastle. Our mission is to Deliver Happiness to transform smiles with Invisalign and all available advanced cosmetic treatments. We are led by one of the UK's leading Invisalign providers and operate as a Diamond II Invisalign provider. All of our stores are equipped with latest intra-oral scanners and digital x-rays. We also actively promote general dentistry through affordable monthly plans.

We are located in the heart of Newcastle city centre on Grey Street so you can expect a vibrant setting with excellent transport link. You will be part of our growing business with practices in Bristol, Leeds, Nottingham and Glasgow with further plans for rapid expansion in 2025. You will therefore have loads of support from our team of Practice Managers across the UK.

Our Newcastle store is our flagship practice being the very first practice to open it's doors in 2021. From there Smmmile has gone from strength to strength. This is a unique opportunity to join our growing brand. We are therefore looking for a highly experienced individual who is passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer service, promoting a positive team culture and driving results. No day is the same so you will need resilience, ambition and drive working along side our Principal dentist taking the lead in steering the ship.

We want you to take pride in your practice, treat it as if it were your own business and lead your team to even greater new heights. The business has great plans to grow further, so we are looking to recruit ambitious individuals who can flourish and increase impact as the business expands rapidly.

You will directly manage your team of fabulous clinicians, nurses, receptionists and support staff. You will also be responsible for marketing, audits and financial processes. You will be familiar with GDC standards and you will need to apply to become the CQC registered manager. This is a small friendly team giving you the opportunity to focus on quality and grow your practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

You will be a natural born leader to ensure your team strive towards Smmmile vision and core values. You will thrive in driving practice KPI's relating to revenue and targets and everything in relation to cost management. Your commitment to exemplary customer care will shine so your team deliver our 5 star service to gain polished customer feedback. Ideally you will be a trained dental nurse with a GDC registration to ensure practice safety is also your top priority. You will carry out regular audits and risk assessment to exceed the expectations of CQC and GDC requirements. You will also ensure the practice appearance is kept to a high standard recruit develop and motivate the team using effective management skills. You will also need to be willing to apply flexibility to your role by applying cover to other roles in the practice when needed.

The successful candidate will:

Have at least 2 years practice manager experience
Hold a GDC registration (desirable)
Become the CQC Registered Manager
Be strong leader with the ability to lead and inspire others
Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding dental retail environment
Have an enthusiastic flexible attitude
Passionate about patient care and customer experience
Experience in driving marketing activities to drive growth
Be able to optimise revenues and profits and work within budgets
Create an exciting and energetic atmosphere for patients and staff

Hours 37.5 flexible working across Monday to Friday
