The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative practice where your clinical skills and ideas will be valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypertension
Routine treatment room duties including wound care, immunisations, ear care, cervical cytology, and ECGs
Well woman clinic
Health promotion and lifestyle advice
Contraceptive advice and support
Childhood and adult vaccinations (as per national schedules)
Assist with screening and recall programmes as required
Contribute to QOF and enhanced services
About You:
NMC registered Nurse (essential)
Previous experience in a primary care or GP surgery setting (essential)
Confident working autonomously, while being part of a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines and best practice
Competent in the use of clinical systems (EMIS Web desirable but not essential - training provided)
