About the Role



We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Practice Nurse

to join our friendly, supportive, and progressive team at

St Lawrence Surgery

, Worthing.

The ideal candidate will have at least

2 years' post-registration experience in General Practice

and already be trained and confident in

chronic disease management

.
You'll work as part of our well-established nursing team to deliver high-quality care to our patients in a modern, forward-thinking practice.

Key Responsibilities



We are looking for someone who can independently carry out:

Child immunisations

Diabetes reviews

and/or

Asthma checks

Cervical cytology

(smear tests)

Family planning and women's health

Treatment room nursing

, including wound care, ECGs, and health checks Support for

chronic disease management clinics


You'll work collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, pharmacists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

About You



To succeed in this role, you will need to be:

A

Registered Nurse (RGN)

with

at least 2 years of experience in General Practice

Confident and competent in

chronic disease management

Skilled in

child immunisations, cytology

, and

family planning

A great communicator with a positive, team-oriented approach Committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care
Experience with

EMIS Web

would be an advantage but is not essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 17.00-21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 37 per week
