Job Description

We are seeking a Practice Nurse to join our energetic and enthusiastic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as experience with medical documentation and patient care. Working as part of our superb nursing team you will be involved in a full range of general practice nursing. We are also seeking a candidate who has previous general practice experience

and

is keen to develop their skills in women's health. The successful candidate will be supported through their DipFSRH so they can provide coil and implant fittings.

Current experience in Respiratory Medicine would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided to enhance your skills.

We are looking for 16 hours/week with various opportunities for overtime.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Duties:
- Dressings/Wound care
- Phlebotomy
- Administering vaccinations

- ECGs
- Injections
- INR dosing using INR star
- Health Checks

- Childhood Immunisations

- Cervical screening
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
- Active nursing license
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with medical documentation and patient care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

We will consider experienced practice nurses with or without chronic disease experience.

The successful candidate would be expected to work occasional late clinics (until 20:00) and Saturdays on an ad-hoc basis. This is paid at an increased rate of pay. We would also require flexibility to help cover holiday/sickness.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 36,000.00-38,500.00 per year
