There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care b.
Cytology (clinical scope/need) c. Wound care/ ulcer care d. Compression bandaging & measuring of hosiery e. Dopplers f.
Removal of sutures/clips g. Blood Pressure Checks h. POC tests i. Urinalysis j.
ECGs k. Venepuncture l. Routine immunisations/ Childhood immunisations (clinical scope/need) m. Patient prescribed injections n.
Follow and implement infection prevention and control procedures/policies/audits within the surgery and legislation regarding this. o. Complete resuscitation equipment checks as required
