We are a friendly practice with 6 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, Senior Practice Nurse and 2 HCA's complimenting the team with 1 Practice Manager & a team of administrative staff and Receptionists
We are a training practice supporting GP registrars and medical students from local universities.
Job responsibilities
The successful candidate will be proficient in EMIS, consulting with patients to deliver high-quality healthcare (desirable)
Be innovative, enthusiastic, and caring, with a strong commitment to patient-centered Care
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in QOF and associated skills, including:
Child/adult immunisations, travel vaccinations, cervical cytology, dressings, wound care, family planning, provide chronic disease management, asthmas, diabetes, COPD etc, referring patients as and when required, ECG's.
Undertaking administrative tasks as allocated

Duties
Delivering patient care, including health assessments, wound management, and health education programmes
Assisting with minor procedures and vaccinations in accordance with clinical protocols
Monitoring patient vital signs and maintaining accurate medical records
Providing advice on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Supporting patients with medication management and follow-up care
Ensuring infection control standards are strictly adhered to within the practice
Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans
Participating in clinical audits and continuous professional development activities
Requirements
Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting
Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with patients
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping and clinical procedures
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a busy healthcare environment
