Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, ANPs, Clinical Pharmacists, HCAs, and strong admin support. We are an active member of our Primary Care Network (PCN) and prioritise staff wellbeing, training, and delivering outstanding patient care.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced

Practice Nurse

to join us on a

permanent, full-time basis

. This is a varied clinical role with protected admin time and excellent development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver treatment-room services: immunisations (childhood, travel, flu/COVID), wound care, cervical screening, ECGs Manage long-term conditions: asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension reviews Support family planning, sexual health, and menopause clinics Perform phlebotomy, NHS health checks, and ear irrigation Administer depot injections, vitamin B12, and other injectable therapies Contribute to QOF, local enhanced services, and infection control audits Mentor HCAs, nursing students, and support practice vaccination programmes Use

Working Pattern

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

(Monday-Friday) Flexible shifts between

8:00am - 6:30pm

No weekend, evening, or bank holiday working

Daily 30-minute paid lunch break

1 protected CPD session per month

Person SpecificationEssential

NMC-registered Nurse (Adult) with valid PIN Minimum

2 years post-registration experience

in primary care or general practice Cytology, immunisation, and chronic disease management qualifications Excellent phlebotomy and clinical assessment skills Strong IT literacy and teamwork ethos

Desirable

Experience with SystmOne Travel health or minor illness qualification Mentoring or teaching experience
