Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the clinical team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Duties

Deliver patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Conduct health screenings and assessments, including vital signs and medical history. Administer vaccinations, child immunisations, wound dressing, smear test, travel vaccination, diabetes review, asthma/COPD review, NHS health check, pill check, blood pressure management, venepuncture and stitch/stitches removal. Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans. Assist in minor procedures and wound care management. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Infection control management.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing qualification with valid registration. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on empathy and understanding.
