```Responsibilities```

- Perform routine patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures

- Educate patients on self-care techniques and provide instructions for medication management

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team

- Administering childhood immunisations

- Undertaking cervical screening preferable

- Annual vaccination clinics, including flu and covid

- Travel advice and vaccinations

- Provide wound care and advice

- Contraceptive advice and checks

```Experience```

- Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar role is preferred.

- Previous diabetes experience is preferred, this is a role for a Diabetic nurse, if no previous experience fully training will be provided.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
