Core surgery hours 8 am - 6:30 pm - happy to discuss your preferred days/hours

Friendly, high-achieving training practice in Nottingham requires an experienced Practice Nurse for a flexible, ongoing locum booking to provide Winter Pressure cover.

Typical duties will include:

Chronic disease management (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Hypertension, CHD, CKD etc.) Year-of-Care reviews and QOF Cytology, baby & travel immunisations Wound care, dressings, suture removal Health promotion, smoking cessation, weight management Contraception (coils/implants not required) Ear irrigation, ECGs, venepuncture Some treatment room / minor illness / same-day support

Requirements

NMC registered Adult Nurse Minimum 2 years recent UK primary care / practice nurse experience Up-to-date cytology, childhood & travel immunisation training Confident with chronic disease reviews Excellent communication skills and team player System One or EMIS experience preferred (training given if needed)
