Practice Nurse Part Time
Job Description
To be responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the Practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with a long-term condition, and the provision of preventative health care to the practice population. As a Practice Nurse, the nurse is responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making in the management of patients within the boundaries of their role. They will work collaboratively within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures, and provide support to their colleagues.
They will engage with the practice clinical networks and work towards the RCN competency framework for Practice Nurses as part of their on-going development. They will work flexibly across the main site and branch surgery of Peel House Medical Practice where required. Please see attached job description and person spec with full details.
