Practice Nurse - Stowmarket, Suffolk



Location:

Stowmarket, Suffolk

Part-time, up to

27 hours per week


Salary:

Up to

43,000 per annum

Team Structure:



4 Practice Nurses 2 Health Care Assistants Morning phlebotomy team

Main Duties / Responsibilities



Injections & Procedures:

Routine injections Child immunisations Travel risk assessment, immunisations, and advice Cytology (cervical screening) Wound care Removal of sutures

Chronic Disease Management:

Asthma reviews Long-term condition reviews Support with diabetes, hypertension, and COPD (desirable)

Other General Nursing Tasks:

ECGs Blood tests (supported by eConsult)

Person Specification



Essential Qualifications:

Qualified and registered nurse (adult, child, mental health, or learning disability) Willingness to undertake ongoing training

Desirable Experience:

Experience in diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and COPD management
