Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with various clinical tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. The Practice Nurse will work closely with patients, supporting their health needs and contributing to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Conduct health assessments and monitor patients' vital signs, documenting findings accurately. Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by the healthcare provider. Provide education and support to patients regarding health management and disease prevention. Assist in minor surgical procedures and wound care as required. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of practice protocols.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid nursing licence. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential; new graduates are welcome to apply. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and care plans. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in nursing.
