Our Practice Success Managers are critical to guiding firms through this evolution and simplification of their workflows, providing commercial guidance, advice and know-how that strategically supports the evolution and development of their firm. As accountancy firms have digitalised over the past 10 years, the pace of change for them has been radical and there is internal fatigue around new software adoption. It is critical therefore that they are encouraged and supported in the steps that they take as they continue to underpin their firms with technology, to ensure that it is prioritised.




This will be achieved by working closely with the firm to gain a solid understanding of their goals. Through regular engagement they will be able to support them with recognising and evaluating opportunities that are present,and delivering a valued proposition that is underpinned by our suite of products.




To truly support our accounting partners, this hybrid role requires a flexible engagement strategy combining online meetings with on-site face-to-face meetings to a close cohort of practices(circa 225-250practices). In addition, this role will need to attend events that will be held throughout the year.




This is a hybrid role - three days per week in our Newcastle office.

- Maintain and nurture strong relationships across a portfolio of clients creating advocates for Sage measured by growing your active base and winning new to Sage accountants


- Develop a Practice plan for each client within the assigned portfolio that supports their aspiration to digitise, automate and expand their firm


- Implement and maintain a robust customer success model and base plan for your whole base, liaising closely with the PEM team to ensure goals are achieved


- Gain an understanding of clients' pain points and workflow challenges, delivering responsive solutions and support underpinned by the Sage suite of products.


- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to confidently demonstrate & make recommendations from across Sage's product portfolio.


- Ensure the CRM system and pipeline are kept up to date in order to accurately forecast and drive sales performance.


- Keep fully up to date with Industry changes that affect both our Accountants in practice and Sage product portfolio


- Adopt the Sage Academy approach and mythology ensuring customer engagement and interactions focus on supporting practices achieve their goals ensuring ROI's are achieved


- Be creative and active across social media to ensure Sage and your Accountants achieve maximum exposure to build a presence and engage in the market.


- Attend client events throughout the year to drive client advocacy and to build market awareness of the Sage suite of products.
